Daybook

A personal iPhone project

Your health.
Your daybook.

An iPhone app for looking back at sleep, movement and the readings your Fitbit Air collects.

Daybook brings a daily Apple Health dashboard together with a separate Air history. It is a personal app developed by Brodie Lee, currently used on the developer’s own iPhone.

Connected to your records

With your permission, Daybook reads Google Health measurements directly: heart-rate variability, nightly skin temperature, oxygen saturation and detailed heart rate. Google sign-in happens through Google’s official iOS SDK. The Air stays paired with Google Health.

Automatic sync checks when Daybook opens or returns to the foreground, then every 15 minutes while active. Earlier Takeout imports and matching Google readings share one local history.

A day at a glance

Apple Health supplies sleep, steps, workouts and other available measurements. Daybook also offers reminders, a configurable Home Screen widget and optional AI briefings. You review the facts before sending a briefing request to OpenAI.

Local history, explicit sharing

Health history stays in protected storage on the iPhone. Google-synced Air history is currently separate from the AI briefing facts. This website does not receive health records. Read the privacy policy for connection, storage and deletion details.

Daybook is not publicly distributed and has no public account registration. It is not affiliated with Google, Fitbit, Apple or OpenAI, and does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
